A composition is a kind of association where there is a part->whole relationship among the parts and the parts cannot exist without the whole (they are therefore strong connected).

Ex: A Room is part of a Building, but there is no room if there is no building. Fingers are parts of a Hand, there are no fingers that are not parts of a hand, but there can be a hand without one finger.
